Objectives of WAHA

WAHA has been established with a clear and comprehensive set of objectives aimed at advancing Hindu scholarship and strengthening the global academic portrayal of Hindu civilization.

  • Promoting Authentic Hindu Scholarship
    Encouraging rigorous research that reflects the true essence of Hindu traditions, scriptures, and historical narratives, while pioneering new academic frontiers.


  • Correcting Misrepresentation
    Advocating for the faithful and accurate portrayal of Hindu philosophy, history, and culture within global educational institutions, countering distortions and biases.


  • Strengthening Academic Networks
    Building a robust, collaborative global network of Hindu academicians to share ideas, research, data, and resources, thereby shaping intellectual discourse worldwide.


  • Countering Discrimination
    Providing support to Hindu academicians facing workplace bias, facilitating information-sharing on discriminatory practices, and developing strategies to effectively deter such actions.


  • Mentoring Emerging Scholars
    Guiding young Hindu researchers and academicians through mentorship programs, funding opportunities, collaborative research initiatives, and career counseling to nurture future academic leadership.


  • Research and Publication
    Supporting research projects, conferences, seminars, and scholarly publications focused on Hindu scriptures, history, sciences, philosophy, and cultural heritage.
